School Council
School council supports the school's vision and mission through the evaluation of programs and by providing feedback from all members of the community by:
- Advising the principal
- Evaluating programs/services/expectations (e.g. bullying, citizenship, dress code, etc.)
- Providing feedback from the community
- Enhancing parent/educator relations (Review parent/student handbook)
- Conducting the annual Parent Satisfaction Survey
- Facilitating the development of the Compass Plan
The school council includes the following members:
- School principal
- Teachers
- Support staff
- Parents of students enrolled in the school
- Community representatives who are not the parent of a child in the school
Our school council is set to meet before school on the third Tuesday of each month.
